'Are you afraid of the Dark' is an absolute crap and whatever being sold is for SS's selling power and nothing else. Not worth a read and definitely not worth a buy.

Kumara Guru, Went off to Madurai. I agree with you about Selvaraghavan's improvement. this was much better.

Latha, did see vishwathulai's trailer and songs. very artistic. not the masala types. should find time to check it out.

Prabhu, Was on a trip hence the delay.

Curses, Sidney Sheldon failed this time badly to impress. Not the usual stuff. But timepass. especially if you travel from madras to madurai.

Mick/Ravi, Thanks a ton for the note.

Kirthika, I have similarly missed a couple of posts. There are times I forget a post. sometimes, i am lazy about them and someone makes a good post out of the same news. It's all in blogging.

Lazy I can't believe you still haven't put up your 7GRC review..You're human after all ;-)

I saw the movie today.. Selvaragavan has shown a great improvement over his previous two movies. Even firstime actor RaviKrisha has done well. The scene were this chap hands the appointment letter to his dad and the ensuing conversation between dad and mom is quite touching. The camera and lighting are brilliant! (The 360-degree panning shot of Sonia Agarwal with the blue sky in the background.. for example). The climax could have been better..nevertheless understandable.

Selvaragavan said(in Vijay TV) something like 90% of the movie's story is his own life story..Guess why the final scene shows the hero wearing the same thick framed glasses as the director?

Ah, a post I'd been thinking of putting up ever since I first visited Barista, about a month and a half before. And I instantly loved the idea of a corner book store (more like a treasure chest!) and the-absolutely-no-noise factor to disturb a nice chat session between two school friends meeting after a real long time. They do play other channels but I think those guys have a thing or two for animated stuff. (The last time I went, they were playing a sneak preview of Shrek 2)

I have always been an avid reader but the only problem was my selection of books. I used to go by authors and finish all of their books. But the biggest problem was chosing the first book of the authors. Because of this I have skipped many of the good novels. I used to go by the no. of times the book had been borrowed. If only there was a person in the library who could tell me how good a book was (like the chap u mention) I guess I would have read the better ones.
